What I’m up to…

Hello!  I’ve been staying busy!  There’s lots to do day to day but even more important (ha ha!) there’s lots of scrapping to be done.  So here’s what I am up to!

Can you find my name?  Look hard, it’s there!!  Yup!  I was picked as a CT member for LLC by Amy Stoffel (Live Love Create).  I have been a fan of Amy’s work since using it at Inspiration Lane.  She’s now over at one of my favorite stores, Scrap Orchard!  I’m thrilled to be a part of her team, they are a bunch of goofballs over there, so it is TONS of fun!

See the other ad???  Can you believe it?!  Yes, that’s my name under the guest spot over at the Scrap Matters shop.  Scrap Matters is also my favorite store!  It was a tough, VERY tough, site CT call.  130 applications.  The admin over there did a great job, especially my good scrap friend, Kim (kimbytx).  She’s the HEAD CT for the site team!  Wow, her work has always been really great and she’s an awesome friend!

So I can’t forget to give a shout out to my other CT teams.  I love working for Amanda Heimann’s Ad team over at SO, and Sarah Bennett at SM… they’ve been awesome teams so far and I hope to continue making great layouts and ads for them.  My favorite part is making great friends and promoting great work!  You may see some of that here!  Keep a watch out!

Just a smooch for you

It’s Valentine’s Day!  Cupid, love, hearts, smooching, lol.  I’m a very lucky woman because I have had a valentine for the 15th straight year.  Same one, lol!  We may not always do something special but we are always in love, no matter what.  Here’s some photos of my “funny” valentine…

In honor of this 15th Valentines Day, I have a freebie that I hope you’ll LOVE.  I had lots of fun making it.  There are 13 papers just for you.  I titled them “Just a Smooch”.  I created the color scheme using a great photo from Sleeping Beauty.

Just a little snow…

It’s been such a great winter here in Arkansas lately.  We had a white Christmas, which unfortunately meant we didn’t see our family on the day of, but it’s only gotten better since.  We’ve had several days of decent snow!  We missed our first day back to work after the holiday break due to the weather, and have had a couple more days since.  I am truly a winter kind of girl.  I love the warmth of a fireplace, the sparkling of the snow (reminds me of Edward in the sun…*wink)

Here’s a few of the photos I took on the day we had about 8 inches of snow.  If you don’t know, I live in Northwest Arkansas and a good snow is a few inches.  We were loving the 8+ inches we got.  I was feeling glad that my cocker spaniels had not yet been shaved down.  They are overdue but I’d rather have them messy and fluffy than cold.  They LOVED the snow!

Sick, Sick, Sick…

Hi all… I’ve had a bit of a rough week… I’ve been under the weather.  I think the only good thing is that I’ve scrapped a few good pages (or at least, I like them!)
First, let me tell you about this action that I used to create the preview below… Happy Scrap Girl Designs has an action for creating fast previews and it worked brilliantly!  It’s called Time Saver Tool-Instant Preview.  Here’s the preview I created with it!

So on to more about my layouts!  Layout 1 is for a challenge that I held over at Mouse Scrappers this past week.  I was so happy how it turned out!  There were about 30 layouts submitted and 2 winners got a coupon for $5 off at Britt-ish Designs store at Scrap Matters!!  What a great prize and I REALLY think it is so awesome that Britt donated it for my challenge.  If you haven’t seen what goes on over at Mouse Scrappers, please go check it out!

My other 3 layouts feature new kits that will be showcased at Inspiration Lane beginning Friday, February 12th.  Get on over there to see the stuff they have… It’s SO easy to scrap with!  You can go to my gallery on Friday and see the credits and links to get these cute kits!  Layout #4 is already up and is one of my FAVORITES of my cute niece, Hannah!
